boneProtect - for bone health
What is the difference between BoneProtect Calcium and Calcium with Vitamin D?
BoneProtect provides a large dose of Calcium in the form of Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA). Sourced from Australian bovine bone, MCHA is better utilized by the body compared to Calcium Carbonate found in Calcium with Vitamin D. BoneProtect also has added minerals and vitamin C including Glucosamine which are beneficial for bones and cells.
Can you take too much Calcium?
Yes! The human body has natural mechanism of protecting against calcium overdose, however over 4g daily can result in renal damage and deposit of calcium in other area. 1200 to 1500mg per day will minimize this problem.
Does BoneProtect contain Vitamin K?
Yes. BoneProtect contains Vitamin D and Vitamin K which aids the absorption of Calcium, making it more available to the body.
Why should I take BoneProtect over other calcium supplements?
BoneProtect s a potent and highly absorbable calcium supplement. It is the same form of Calcium (MCHA) that is found within the human body, therefore an identical match for rapid buildup in bone density. BoneProtect contains a full range of minerals and vitamins needed for bone health such as Magnesium, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K, Folic Acid, Boron and Glucosamine which are all included in the formulation. BoneProtect has balanced Calcium to Magnesium ratio. Human nutrition requires twice the Calcium as Magnesium (2:1). Taking more Magnesium than Calcium can actually suppress Calcium levels and increase bone loss by decreasing the production of the thyroid hormone, calcitonin. Magnesium must not be excessive or it acts as an undesirable Calcium blocker. Clinical studies prove superior activity. The Hydroxyapatite in BoneProtect is embedded in a protein matrix containing collagen and amino acids. Clinical studies have shown that the amino acids in the bone matrix is the reason for the superior activity of the product.

Lactoferrin is being studied in two ongoing phase-2 human clinical trials in asthma: an allergen-challenge trial in subjects with mild asthma taking place in the United Kingdom, and a placebo-controlled US trial in steroid-naive patients with mild-to-moderate asthma. In preclinical studies, Lactoferrin has demonstrated efficacy in sheep and primate models of asthma. Such preclinical study results have predicted human clinical efficacy for a number of asthma drugs in the past. Both oral and inhaled Lactoferrin, when administered to sheep, reduced the peak late-phase lung inflammatory response by 75% to 90%. Lactoferrin also completely eliminated airway hypersensitivity. In longer-term administration (lasting 14 to 28 days), Lactoferrin inhibited the peak early-phase response by up to 77%. It also reduced lung accumulation of inflammatory cells that have been linked to asthma following allergen challenge.
